§ 14-9-29. Public participation; compliance with Open Meetings Act and Freedom Of Information Act.

In accordance with the purposes of Community Advisory Councils, public participation is to be encouraged. Public comment shall be a part of every meeting of the Community Advisory Council. All meetings of the Community Advisory Council and hearings shall be open to the public, and noticed and conducted in compliance with the Michigan Open Meetings Act, 1976 PA 267, MCL 15.261 et seq. Records of the Community Advisory Council shall be made available in accordance with the Michigan Freedom of Information Act, 1976 PA 442, MCL 15.231 et seq.
