§ 14-11-1. Establishment.

In recognition of the fact that it is necessary for the best interests of the public to redevelop the city's commercial corridors and to promote economic growth, a corridor improvement authority is hereby established pursuant to Act No. 280 of the Public Acts of 2005, as amended [MCL 125.2871 et seq.], to be known as the Eight Mile/Woodward Corridor Improvement Authority of the City of Detroit.
