§ 16-1-4. State law to apply to street and alley opening or widening.

Whenever, on behalf of the City of Detroit, the city council adopts a resolution that authorizes the opening or widening of any street or alley and requires condemnation or acquisition of property for such purpose, this action shall be governed by applicable state law including, but not limited to, the Michigan Uniform Condemnation Procedures Act, being MCL 213.51 et seq; MSA 8.265(1) et seq, and the Michigan Acquisition of Property for Public Highways Act, being MCL 213.361 et seq; MSA 8.261 (1) et seq.
