§ 16-1-6. Payments, assistance, and reimbursement for certain real property vacated for use by city.

Any person who vacates real property or removes his personal property therefrom on or after December 28, 1973, pursuant to a project undertaken by the City of Detroit where federal funds are not available or used and which results in the acquisition of the real property in whole or in part, shall be entitled to the same payments, assistance, and reimbursement as if federal funds were available or used under the uniform relocation assistance and real property acquisition policies for Federal and Federally Assisted Programs Act, being 42 U.S.C. 4601 et seq, as amended, and the regulations promulgated thereunder.
