§ 24-11-3. Jurisdiction and administration.

(a)

The Director of the City of Detroit Department of Health and Wellness Promotion ("health department"), hereafter referred to as the health officer, shall have responsibility for administering and enforcing this ordinance, including all amendments hereafter adopted unless otherwise specifically stated.

(b)

This article shall have effect throughout the City of Detroit, which has established its own local health department pursuant to MCL 333.2422.
