§ 26-6-9. Waiver of rights.

(a)

An owner or developer shall not request, and a tenant may not grant, with or without consideration, a waiver of the tenant's right to receive an offer to purchase under this article.

(b)

An owner or developer shall not request, and a tenant may not grant, with or without consideration, a waiver of the tenant's right to a lifetime lease prior to the execution of a lifetime lease.

(c)

An owner or developer shall not require waiver of any other right under this article; waiver of any other right without the written consent of the tenant is not effective.
