§ 30-1-3. Computation of time.

Latest version.

For purposes of computing a period of time under this article:
(1)

The day of the act, after which the designated period of time begins to run, is not included; and

(2)

The last day of the period is included, unless the day is a Saturday, a Sunday, a legal or City holiday, or a budget-required furlough day and, if so, the period runs until the end of the next day that is not a Saturday, a Sunday, a legal or City holiday, or a budget-required furlough day.
