§ 9-1-19. Violations.

(a)

In accordance with Section 4c(3) of the Michigan Home Rule Cities Act, being MCL 117.41(4) and Sections 1-1-9(c) and 8.5-2-1, of the 1984 Detroit City Code, a violation of this article is deemed to be a blight violation.

(b)

Any person who violates any section of this article may be issued a blight violation notice pursuant to Chapter 8.5 of the 1984 Detroit City Code for each day that the violation continues.

(c)

In accordance with Chapter 8.5 of the 1984 Detroit City Code, any person, firm, partnership or corporation, or anyone acting on behalf of said person, firm, partnership or corporation, who admits responsibility or is found to be responsible, through a blight violation determination, for violation of this article shall be subject to a civil fine.
