§ 38-9-6. Undesired and unwelcome accosting prohibited; penalties.
(a)
It shall be unlawful for any person to continue to accost another person after the second person has asked the first person to stop, or after the second person has communicated a clear and reasonable manifestation to the first person that continuing to accost is undesired and unwelcome.
(b)
A person who violates any provision of this chapter is guilty of a misdemeanor for each violation and may be fined up to five hundred dollars ($500.00) and sentenced to a maximum of ninety (90) days in jail, or both, for each violation.
