§ 56-3-40. Entry of assessment rolls on books of finance director; collections.

Upon confirmation of such assessment roll by the city council, the water and sewerage department shall deliver the same to the finance director, who, upon receipt of such assessment roll, shall make the necessary entries in his books, as required by the Charter, this Code and other city ordinances, and deliver such assessment roll to the city treasurer. Thereafter, such proceedings shall be taken thereupon as are provided in the Charter, this Code and other city ordinances for the collection of special assessments.
