§ 13-8-7. Same—Families of members.

At the time of enrolling for hospitalization and surgical benefits for himself, as provided in section 13-8-6, any member may elect to include under either the hospitalization benefits or the hospitalization and surgical benefits, and major medical benefits, if applicable, his spouse and/or his unmarried children under the age of nineteen (19) years and any persons covered under the various dependency riders such as the sponsored dependents rider and the family continuation rider contained in the various existing authorized hospitalization and surgical plants; provided, that he authorizes the city to deduct from his pay in a manner prescribed by section 13-8-10.
