§ 14-10-17. Audits.

(a)

The corporation shall have its records audited once each fiscal year by an independent auditing firm.

(b)

Upon receipt by the board, a certified copy of each audit shall be forwarded by the executive director of the corporation to the mayor and to the city council.

(c)

In the event there is evidence of the necessity for more frequent audits:

(i)

The mayor may notify the board of directors in writing of the same; or

(ii)

The city council may adopt a resolution regarding the same which shall be forwarded by the mayor to the board of directors.
