§ 28-2-21. Bailee policy of insurance.
(a)
Before any license required by this division shall be issued, the applicant shall file with the finance director written evidence that a bailee policy of insurance has been issued to the applicant and is in full force and effect for the period to be covered by the license; provided, that no bailee insurance shall be required of licensees who do not take into their possession any wearing apparel or household furnishings to be dry cleaned, laundered or stored.
(b)
Such policy of insurance shall be subject to the approval of the corporation counsel and shall not expire, nor shall its cancellation take effect, until after ten (10) days' written notice shall have been given by the insurance company to the finance director at his office, such ten (10) days to be calculated from the date such notice is actually received at the office of the finance director.
