§ 28-2-20. Bond.

  • Before any license required by this division shall be issued, the licensee shall file with the finance director a surety bond, approved in form by the corporation counsel, and written by a surety company authorized to transact business in the state, in the penal sum of one thousand dollars ($1,000.00), which bond shall run to the city and be conditioned so that the licensee shall pay all penalties incurred for the violation of this article or any other provision of this Code or other ordinance of the city or any statute of the state pertaining to such business, and further conditioned so as to reimburse and pay to any person and judgment entered against the licensee for the loss or damage to any wearing apparel or household furnishings entrusted to the licensee for dry cleaning, laundering or storage.
