§ 38-11-25. Possession of hypodermic syringes or needles prohibited.

  • A person shall not possess at any time a hypodermic syringe or needle, or any other instrument or implement adapted, for the use of any controlled substance by subcutaneous injection or intracutaneous injection, or any other manner or method of introduction into the human body, unless such possession either is authorized by the prescription form issued within the period of one (1) year by a licensed medical doctor or osteopathic physician, or is allowed under section 38-11-29 of this Code.
