§ 24-6-18. Coloring of powder.
(a)
When an insecticidal or pest control powder which contains sodium fluoride, sodium fluosilicate or any other poisonous fluorine compound is to be used or intended for use in powder form for the destruction or control of insects, vermin, rodents or other pests, a coloring substance shall be mixed with the poisonous compound in sufficient quantity so that it will be easily discernible that the mixture has been colored and is not white.
(b)
It shall be unlawful for any person to sell, offer for sale or otherwise dispose of any insecticidal or pest control powder which contains sodium fluoride, sodium fluosilicate or any other poisonous fluorine compound as a white powder unless the package or container is conspicuously labeled to indicate that it is a poison and not for use in or around households, buildings or public conveyances as an insecticide, in powder form, without the addition of a color medium.
